Carolina has published its 2008-2009 College Portrait.

College Portrait is a web template and online report used by over 300 participating colleges and universities to convey consistent and comparable data to the public. Among the key areas highlighted are student and campus characteristics, success and progress rates, class size, and cost of attendance. College Portrait was developed by Voluntary System of Accountability(VSA).

The University of North Carolina system replaced the Institutional Profiles with College Portraits for its campuses in 2008.
